The Body Shop Honey Bronze Collection Tinted Leg Mist & Highlighting Domes: Review and Swatches
As a fairly pale person who easily burns, I can tell you that not everyone has the luxury or the genetics to get a flawless tan every summer. So that's why bronzing products are such hot sellers when the warm weather rolls around. Today I have a few products from the new The Body Shop Honey Bronze Collection to share with you. With a tagline that "smart girls fake it", this range will help you attain a nice glow without having to lie in the sun or the tanning bed all day. To see some swatches, click......

Honey Bronze Tinted Leg Spray
Honey Bronze Tinted Leg Mist ($20 CAD):
First up is an oil and shimmer free leg tint made with real honey. The product consists mostly of water so although it's relatively transfer-proof, it is not waterproof so you can't dip in the pool and expect your tan to stay.
I like the fact this gives a matte, sparkle-free and streak-free glow to the skin. The color is pretty universal, not too orange or too dark, so it works well for paler skin. However, the product does contain alcohol, which did in fact make my skin feel kind of dry. So I think this needs to be paired with a moisturizer or a sunscreen (to provide some sun protection and hydration) but I'm not sure how well it will work together of those products.
Additionally, the nozzle actually dispenses a jet of the product, as opposed to a fine mist. I was spraying it with my leg propped up on my bed and one missed spray ended up shooting a jet of tinted mist right onto my bedsheet.
So all in all, this product is good if you just want a little color while attending an indoors event as the product doesn't provide SPF. Additionally, if you have fairly dry skin, I wouldn't recommend it for prolonged wear.

Unblended Honey Bronze Tinted Leg Mist
Honey Bronze Highlighting Domes ($16 CAD):
These cute cream highlights from The Body Shop are now available in three new shades and here I have Shade 01, a warm champagne, and Shade 02, a soft coral with golden shimmers. Housed in a plastic jar base with a twist off cap, these highlights are very smooth and creamy. The pigmentation is quite phenomenal, but because of the various oils used in the ingredients, the product transfers very easily so I would actually recommend topping it off with a translucent powder for longer wear. The dome-shaped design makes them super easy and convenient to apply directly onto the skin. Shade 01 works great as a highlight and Shade 02 is colored enough to work as a blush.
