Nudestix #GoBronze Magnetic Eye Color Set: Review and Swatches
For Summer 2015, Nudestix has released a gorgeous Magnetic Eye Color Set called #GoBronze ($38 CAD). With two metallic summer shades, the #GoBronze set features a limited edition collector's tin bearing the artwork of Toronto artist Jessica Gorlicky. Packaging:
All Nudestix products are packaged in matte black metal tins. The underside of the lid has a mirror. The packaging is cute but in terms of practicality, it is not that travel-friendly as the metal tin has no padding so whatever you store inside will make jangling sounds.
For this special limited #GoBronze set, the lid is printed with an artwork from Jessica Gorlicky called "Dipped in Sugar".
These are not twist-up pencils so the set includes a pencil sharpener as well. The sharpener is designed so that it can be capped onto the tail end of the pencils when not in use.
Nudestix included sharpener with cap.
Formulation:
Amazingly pigmented and creamy, the Magnetic Eye Color crayons apply like a dream. Gilt is a gorgeous metallic gold and Immortal is a medium metallic brown. The pencils are super slick upon application, but they set pretty darn quickly so make sure to blend as fast as you can. Once set, the colors are completely smudge and waterproof! I saw a review mentioning that the formulation seem to "dry" out over time, but I have not experienced that although it's definitely a good idea to put the caps on tightly after each use.

Overall:
These two are some of the best eyeshadow crayons I've ever tried. The pigmentation is stunning and the formulation is completely smudge-proof. Additionally, the value of this set is definitely unbeatable. The Magnetic Eye Colors are sold for $28 CAD each so with this set ($38 CAD) you are saving quite a bit.

Nudestix is available online and in stores at Sephora and select Urban Outfitters.
