With the launch of its "Be Bold. Be Unexpected. Be You" campaign that celebrates all faces of beauty, Make Up For Ever has released two limited edition 4 Artist Shadow Palettes ($56 CAD). Curated by actress Jamie Chung and model Andreja Pejic, each palette holds four full-sized Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows the brand ambassadors use to achieve their signature looks. Packaging:
The 4 Artist Shadow Palette comes in a small square metal tin case with a flip lid. The front is labelled with a large sticker and the inside has several layers of foam inserts. The four shadows are held in place by a large magnetic backing so you can actually swap in and out the shadow pans.
The overall palette is super chic but I don't think it can withstand regular use (plus, it doesn't have a mirror). After just a few swatches, the foam insert already caught a lot of shadow debris, which is quite unfortunate.
Formulation:
In this gorgeous neutral palette curated by model Andreja Pejic, we have three iridescent shades (denoted by the letter I) and one diamond shade (denoted by the letter D). All four colors are crazy pigmented and buttery, the formulation is as good as it gets!
I526: Pale creamy ivory satin with pink and lavender undertones, this one makes such a good inner highlight
I544: Plummy taupe-y brown metallic
I662: Golden brown metallic
D652: Warm brown metallic with micro-flecks of gold

Overall:
This is an absolutely gorgeous palette, each shade in here is a hit! I wish the palette included a matte shade but there is a good mix of warm and cool tones. If you are still looking for that perfect neutral palette, you are going to love this!
