Guerlain Rose Aux Joues Tender Blush in "06 Pink Me Up"

Packaging:
The Rose Aux Joues blush comes in a lacquered black compact. The front has some gold embossing and the inside is divided into two compartments, one for the blush pan and one for the travel brush included. The compact has a large mirror and a snazzy magnetic closure. The blush is pressed with a gorgeous fish scale pattern which looks so pretty and exquisite.

Formulation:
With the classic Guerlain perfume scent, the  Rose Aux Joues in "06 Pink Me Up" looks like a very bright and shimmery coral pink in the pan. However, when swatched the color is actually a fairly sheer pink with subtle silver sparkles. The color is buildable so if you want a more intense flush it's definitely achievable. Aside from the sheerness, the formulation is really nice and finely-milled. It gives a glow-from-within look that's very radiant and natural.

Overall:
"Pink Me Up" is a pretty and shimmery sheer pink blush. The formulation is lovely and I really enjoy the pretty floral scent. Also, how gorgeous is that packaging? Guerlain sure knows how to do luxury!
