Benefit always has a lot of great value sets during the holiday times and this year was no different. The Holiday 2015 Pret-a-Party Full-Face Makeup Kit ($59 CAD, $97 CAD value) comes with two full-sized bestsellers and two mini samples. To read about what's inside, click.......
Benefit Pret-a-Party Full-Face Makeup Kit
Packaging:
The Pret-a-Party Kit is a four-piece makeup set housed in a super funky and fun metal tin. With a two-layered design that can be taken apart, the inner tin can be rotated to display the different party images through the windowed outer tin. The cap has a cool-looking scalloped rim and the outer tin has raised polka dot impressions. The products are securely packed inside a plastic insert.

What's Inside:
  • They're Real! Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara (8.5g, full-sized)
  • Benetint Lip and Cheek Stain (12.5ml full-sized)
  • Fakeup Undereye Hydrating Concealer in "02 medium" (1.4g, mini-sized)
  • The POREfessional Pore Minimizing Face Primer (7.5ml, mini-sized)
They're Real! Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara
The They're Real! Mascara is one of Benefit's best-selling mascaras but I find the formulation a tad wet for my straight, thin lashes. However, it's definitely a fan-favorite so it's worth trying out. Benetint is another classic from Benefit. It's a subtle and easy-to-wear liquid lip and cheek stain, perfect for the "no-makeup" makeup look (check out my full review of it here).

Porefessional Pore Minimizing Face Primer
The Porefessional is a cream primer; I find that it works great on its own to minimize the appearance of pores but it doesn't pair very well with foundations (at least on my skin). I do like that you get quite a decent amount of products to test out.
Lastly is the Fakeup Concealer. I've never tried this product before but I'm not very impressed by the tiny amount of product included (even if it is a sample). The stick concealer didn't come fully retracted so it was kind of smooshed when I first opened it. Additionally, the shade "02 medium" is slightly too dark for my skin so if you were wanting to try out this concealer, the medium shade from this kit might not work for you.

Overall:
If you already love the They're Real! Mascara and the Benetint, then this is a great value set that includes a couple of cute samples. However, if only one of the products are calling out to you, check out some of the other value sets for Holiday 2015 for some alternative offerings. With that said, the packaging is just beyond adorable; the colorful tin can totally be reused as a brush holder or even a cookie jar.

Availability:
Benefit is available online and in stores at Sephora and Shoppers Drug Mart.
