Packaging:
The Dark Diva Majestique Palette comes in a beautiful shiny gold compact. The lid has a matte pale gold inlay with a three-dimensional quilted design. The inside holds a large mirror and five 1.4g shadows, each also pressed with a diamond-quilted pattern. Two duo-ended sponge applicators are included. I'm not too keen on the holiday packaging this year, the design is quite detailed but the execution doesn't feel very luxurious. I much more prefer the glossy printed palettes of
previous collections.

Formulation:
As I've mentioned before, Lise Watier shadows feature some of
the best formulation on the market and this holiday palette is no different. With an almost cream-like texture, the eyeshadows apply like silk and blend seamlessly with each other. The pigmentation is
just superb, opaque in one swipe.
The "Dark Diva" palette features five purple-themed colors: a pale mauve ivory satin, a shimmery taupe-y mauve, a warm burgundy plum metallic, a shimmery lavender gray, and a dark chocolate plum. All the shades are excellent with the exception of the last dark plum, which is a bit sheerer than it appears in the pan. Addtionaly, I am a tad disappointed that the palette doesn't include at least one matte. With that said, though, this is another great palette from Lise Watier, perfect for creating a more intense and smokey holiday look.
