OPI SoftShades 2016 Collection: Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: The products featured were provided for review.
For Spring/Summer 2016, OPI has a new SoftShades Collection with six brand new pastel polishes! If you are a fan of soft rainbow shades then you'd want to keep on reading.......

Stop I'm Blushing!:
A soft warm pastel pink, Stop I'm Blushing is a very sheer color. Even with four coats I had a bit of trouble getting a completely even coverage!
Stop I'm Blushing, four coats with no top coat.
One Chic Chick:
This is a soft baby yellow. The formulation is sheer but it's easier to work with than Stop I'm Blushing. I used three coats for the swatches below.
One Chic Chick, three coats with no top coat.
This Cost Me A Mint:
A soft baby green, this shade is again a sheer polish. I used three coats for the swatches below. The formulation is also very runny, the polish kept on pooling around my cuticles even though I was very careful with the application.
This Cost Me a Mint, three coats with no top coat.
It's A Boy:
A soft baby blue, It's A Boy probably has the nicest formulation out of the six. Although I still had to use three coats, the application was not too bad and the coverage is opaque.
It's A Boy, three coats with no top coat.
I Am What I Amethyst:
A pale periwinkle lavender, I Am What I Amethyst is a lovely color. The formulation is decent for a pastel, I used three coats for the swatches below.
I am What I Amethyst, three coats with no top coat.
It's in the Clouds:
A beautiful off-white cream, It's in the Clouds is unfortunately sheer. Even with four coats the finish was patchy.
It's in the Clouds; four coats with no top coat.
Overall:
Pastel polishes are never easy to work with and these new SoftShades from OPI did not wow. The only shades I would recommend is It's A Boy and I Am What I Amethyst.

Availability:
OPI is available now at select salons and The Bay, Macy's, Dillard's, Ulta, and Ulta.com.
