Summe beauty is all about that enviable natural glow and today I want to share swatches and my reviews of two bronzers from Givenchy. A baked powder bronzer and a face gel containing bronzing microspheres, both products promise a sunny, healthy tan. To read on, click.......
Givenchy Healthy Glow Powder & Mister Radiant Bronzer
Givenchy Healthy Glow Powder
Givenchy Healthy Glow Powder in "02 Douce Saison" ($60 CAD):
A gorgeous baked bronzer powder, the Healthy Glow Powder in "02 Douce Saison" is a soft warm bronze with a subtle sheen. The powder comes in the most exquisite black square compact. The lid has a raised rose gold emblem of the Givenchy logo and the case is secured with a rose gold button stud.

The powder is pressed with a cute star designed inspired by the iconic Givenchy star. In terms of formulation, this bronzer is definitely top-notch; the powder is finely-milled and smooth. It's semi-sheer to allow a buildable, customized glow.

Givenchy Mister Radiant Bronzer Healthy Glow Gel
Givenchy Mister Radiant Bronzer Healthy Glow Gel ($48 CAD):
A face gel filled with three shades of bronzing microspheres, the Mister Radiant Bronzer is certainly a very unique product. The product comes in a simple squeeze tube and the gel itself is glycerin-based, providing a moisturizing and refreshing feel. The included mini powder spheres are light gold shimmer, soft yellow, and soft brown. They are pretty sparsely distributed so you will only get about three or four with each squeeze, which means the gel gives more of a softer glow as opposed to an intense bronze.

I think this is definitely an innovative product; however, I find it a bit difficult to fit it into my makeup routine because I personally wouldn't put this over foundation as it affects the finish of the foundation. Unless you are applying it on bare face, it's just not a very practical product in my opinion. Also, I find it slightly challenging to completely crush and blend the pigment beads. I needed to blend quite aggressively to get the last bits of the sphere fragments to blend completely.
