For Summer 2016, Lise Watier has a brand new collection inspired by seaside vacations and nautical romance. Featuring a handful of limited edition colors for the eyes and cheek, the Escale Collection is in stores now. To see some swatches of a few selections, click.......
Lise Watier Escale Palette for Eyes & Cheek
Lise Watier Escale Palette for Eyes & Cheek ($55 CAD):
Packaged in a large nautical-floral themed compact, the Escale palette features seven beautiful eye colors and an easy-to-wear peach blush. The blush looks quite neutral and subtle in the palette but it swatches fairly bright and rich. There are no shimmers and it blends seamlessly on the cheeks.

Included for the shadows are a matte baby teal, a dark teal matte, a dark mauve-grey matte, a taupe-brown matte, a satin ivory nude, a cool-tone mauve nude shimmer, and a pale-pink champagne shimmer. The majority of the shadows are very creamy and pigmented with the exception of the matte baby teal and mauve-grey, both of which are a bit sheer and patchy.

Lise Watier Escale Bronzing Powder
Lise Watier Escale Bronzing Powder ($44 CAD);
A gorgeous bronzer housed in a beautiful compact much like that of the Escale Palette, the Escale Bronzing Powder features a soft and pigmented formulation. The baked powder has a pretty swirly design with shades of pink, champagne, and dark bronze; however, when blended together the color is a nice shimmery soft bronze. This bronzer is actually the same as last summer's release, just packaged in a different compact.

Lise Watier Ombre Fraiche Liquid Eyeshadow
Lise Watier Ombre Fraiche Liquid Eyeshadow ($23 CAD):
Available in three shades, the Ombre Fraiche liquid shadow comes a chunky lipgloss tube with a flattened doe-foot applicator. The formulation is fairly thin and I was surprised that they didn't set completely. As a result, these work best when blended out to a sheer wash of shimmer, if too much is applied, the product will crease.
Atlantique is a pale gold shimmer, Austral is a pale sea foam green, and Alize is a pale pink shimmer. They are all fairly pigmented and just packed to the brim with shimmers but as I've mentioned, the formulation doesn't build very well so they will only work well as a subtle dab of shimmer.
