Hi everyone, I hope your day is going well! Today I have a couple of popular products from Becca to share with you. Well known for their beautiful highlighters and blushes, Becca is all about effortless and radiant beauty. To read a bit about the Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation and the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector, click......

Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation ($53 CAD):
With 32% of water and 12% pigments, the Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation is infused with hyluronic acid, vitamin E and C, sunflower seed oil, and green algae extracts. The product is housed in a gorgeous glass bottle with a glass-droper applicator. The cap has a snazzy mechanism which neatly tucks the dropper presser button into the cap it is twisted back onto the bottle.

The formulation is indeed very light and refreshing. However, the coverage is definitely on the sheer side (even though I made sure to really shake the bottle before use). Because of the water-based formulation, the foundation is not very cushioning. I made sure to shake the bottle really well before use but the pigments in the formulation still settled into fine lines and around dry patches. Overall, I find the formulation of this to be too sheer and too thin. With that said, if you have nice skin and are looking for a light and refreshing foundation, then do give this a try.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in "Opal"
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector ($50 CAD):
Housed in a simple tall plastic bottle with a convenient pump dispenser, the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector is a creamy liquid highlighter made with "ultra-fine light-reflecting" pearl particles. The formulation is very lightweight and the cream is packed to the brim with shimmers.
"Opal" is a sunny golden shimmer; when it's blended out, it provides a gorgeous glowy sheen. The shimmering effect is buildable but the product doesn't set as well when it's not throughly blended so this highlighter is really for more of a natural glow. "Opal" works very well over the cheeks; I would even recommend applying a tiny bit over the lids on days you don't feel like doing eye makeup.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in "Opal", unblended.
Becca is available online and in stores at Sephora.
