Fresh Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Face Mask ($80 CAD) is all about brightening and nourishing the skin. Boasting 50% real crushed citrus fruits, the Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Face Mask smells and looks good enough to eat! So how well does this work, read on to find out......
Housed in a 100ml glass jar tinted green, the Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Face Mask is made with vitamin C, E, B5, extracts of orange, lemon, clementine, sugar cane, sugar maple, and soybean oil. I am not kidding when I say that this stuff looks good enough to eat because the mask literally looks like a jar of marmalade. The texture is viscous but slightly runny so application is a bit messy. I would definitely recommend using your fingertips to apply instead of a brush because the formulation is quite packed with fruit pulps.
Although the mask is chunky with fruit bits, the formulation doesn't provide much mechanical exfoliation. All the citrus components do have natural AHAs that gently melt away dead skin cells, but even then, this is a very gentle mask. It's nowhere near as potent as your average peeling mask. The formulation definitely brightens but it's also very a calming and nourishing. The texture doesn't set and harden at all so the removal process is easy albeit messy. My skin is left feeling softened and hydrated. So all in all, if you want a mask that's brightening, nourishing, and deliciously fruity, this one is definitely worth checking out!
