Packaging:
Housed in the most intriguing and unique faux-leather black compacts, the Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham products very well embody Beckham's edgy yet classy style. The black compacts have a shiny gold rim and the inside holds a large mirror embossed with the collaboration logo. The "Modern Mercury" Highlighter is pressed with a cross-hatch design while the "Black Myrrh" Eye Ink is a simple pressed shadow.

A beautiful dusty rose gold shimmer, "
Modern Mercury" has a silky yet creamy formulation. The pigmentation is superb while the color gives a really sophisticated glow to the complexion. This one is definitely going to be a hot seller from the collection so if you want it, you better get on it!

Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham "Black Myrrh" Eye Ink ($55 CAD):
Described as a "pressed gel-cream", "Black Myrrh" Eye Ink is a lovely midnight black powder eye shadow packed with iridescent shimmers. The formulation is definitely not a gel or a cream but it indeed is very buttery and pigmented. Shades like these tend to be patchy and chalky but "Black Myrrh" can definitely be an intense shadow or a dramatic liner (when used wet).
