Packaging:
The About Last Night Style Eye-Con No 20 Eyeshadow Palette comes in a stunning shimmery gold compact. Inside is a huge mirror and you get 20 eyeshadows weighing at 0.8 grams each. The compact has a button closure that's a bit fussy. I'm not sure if mine is slightly defective but I find it very difficult to open and close the lid. Nevertheless, the palette is stunning! The shadows are organized in five columns and included is a create-the-look guide for those that need a little inspiration for their holiday makeup.

Formulation:
The About Last Night palette is a holiday palette but the color scheme is very wearable. There's a good selection of neutrals and evening colors and you get a nice mix of mattes, metallics, shimmers and satin sparkles. Overall, the formulation is very good. I find the lighter mattes to be quite sheer but the rest are all very pigmented and creamy. So is this palette worth the splurge? I'd say yes if you like the color selection. Although you are getting a lot of neutrals, a few of pale mattes are sort of repetitive. So I would actually love to see a couple more rich metallics like the stunning gold that's in the palette. Read on below to see a breakdown of each shade.
