Chanel Summer 2017 Cruise Collection: Review and Swatches
Well, this proves it! Chanel can do no wrong! While summer makeup collections usually call for brights and neons, Chanel is keeping it oh-so-lovely and classy with the new Summer 2017 Cruise Collection. To see some swatches and read my reviews of a few key pieces, click......
Chanel Summer 2017 Cruise Collection Les Beiges Poudre Belle Mine Ensoleillee in "Light": Review and Swatches
Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Luminous Colour in "Light"
Chanel Summer 2017 Cruise Collection | Les Beiges Poudre Belle Mine Ensoleillee Healthy Glow Luminous Colour in "Light" ($68 CAD):
No doubt the star of this collection and available in four different shades, this is a natural powder highlight housed in the elegant Les Beiges compact. The powder is pressed with a soft wavy pattern that mimics the ridges of a seashell while the formulation is soft, creamy, and finely-milled. There is also a very subtle floral fragrance that's very alluring and irresistible.

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Luminous Colour in "Light"
"Light" is a super sheer translucent peachy beige. Under artificial lighting, the powder barely shows up on my NC20 skin. However, under direct sunlight, the powder shines with the most stunning iridescent sparkles. I unfortunately couldn't capture its gorgeous shimmer on camera so I highly encourage you to check this out in person. Overall, this is a very, very, very subtle highlighter. If you are going to be indoors most of the time, the powder provides no more than a subtle brightening effect. However, if you plan on hitting the beach, the Healthy Glow Luminous Colour in "Light" will make you sparkle, in the best way possible (trust me)!

Chanel Summer 2017 Cruise Collection Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliner in "847 Terra Rossa": Review and Swatches
Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in "847 Terra Rossa"
Chanel Summer 2017 Cruise Collection | Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in "847 Terra Rossa" ($35 CAD):
A rich satin plum eyeliner, "847 Terra Rossa" features a creamy and pigmented formulation that glides smoothly over the lids. The formulation only sets slightly so although the color is waterproof, it's not 100% smudge-proof. If you are looking for a nice purple to lightly smudge across the lids, this liner is a good option. However, if you want a sharp and defined line that will last all day, this liner may greatly disappoint.

Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo Complete Care Lipshine in "217 Panorama"
Chanel Summer 2017 Cruise Collection | Rouge Coco Stylo Complete Care Lipshine in "217 Panorama" ($45 CAD):
A hydrating sheer lip color made with coconut oil and jojoba, the Rouge Coco Stylo has a very soft and melty texture. The product is housed in a thick, twist-up crayon and it is unfortunately not retractable, so make sure to only twist up very little at the time.

Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo Complete Care Lipshine in "217 Panorama"
"217 Panorama" is a natural tan beige with just a hint of shimmers. The color is sheer but buildable. I would compare this to a very slick and buttery lip crayon. The color slips around on the lips quite a bit and it will settle into fine lines. Therefore, the wear is just okay but it is very comfy and hydrating!

Chanel Summer 2017 Cruise Collection Le Vernis Nail Polish
Chanel Summer 2017 Cruise Collection | Le Vernis in "560 Coquillage" ($32 CAD):
This is a light pastel peach with a very subtle golden sheen. The formulation is pigmented but slightly uneven so I had to use three coats for a full and smooth finish.

Chanel Summer 2017 Cruise Collection | Le Vernis in "564 Sea Whip" ($32 CAD):
A juicy soft papaya pink cream, Sea Whip is also pigmented but slightly uneven. The polish is not self-leveling so I had to go in with a third coat to smooth things out.

Chanel Summer 2017 Cruise Collection | Le Vernis in "562 Coralium" ($32 CAD):
Last but not least, Coralium is a fresh and soft coral cream. The formulation is pigmented and very creamy. I used two coats for the swatches below and the finish is completely even and opaque.
