With so many great releases lately, Too Faced is showing no signs of stopping. Case in point is the brand new Chocolate Gold Collection. Joining Too Faced's ever-expanding chocolate family, this collection introduces a brand new palette, aptly named the Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette ($59 CAD), along with several other dazzling products. Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette ($59 CAD):
Housed in a palette shaped like a chocolate bar dipped in molten gold, this is a 16-shade eyeshadow palette formulated with cocoa powder and real gold. You get two shadows weighing at 1.8g and 14 weighing at 0.8g. The shades are divided into 12 metallic and four mattes. There are a few bolder color like Money Bag (dark emerald green) and New Money (hot pink) but the majority of the shadows are rich metallic golds, coppers, and bronzes.

Aside from the stunning packaging and the extravagant color selection, this palette features a superb formulation. Every single shade, the four mattes included, are richly pigmented and buttery smooth. For most of them, just a light swipe provides a high-shine, opaque metallic finish. Additionally, like all the other palettes in the Too Faced chocolate family, the shadows have a yummy chocolate scent. If you are a fan of these colors, then don't hesitate to buy because this is a fantastic palette through and through.

Here is a look I created using the Chocolate Gold Palette. I think I went a little crazy with the colors and used one too many but as you can see, the shadows are very pigmented and highly blendable. Money Bag is actually a lot more intense but I blended it quite a bit to sheer it out.

Too Faced Diamond Light Highlighter: Review and Swatches
Too Faced Diamond Light Highlighter
Too Faced Diamond Light Highlighter ($42 CAD):
Too Faced consistently creates some of the cutest packagings but I think they've officially one-upped themselves with this one. Housed in a padded cardboard compact that looks exactly like an engagement ring box, the Diamond Light Highlighter is a beautiful iridescent multi-use highlighter infused with real crushed diamond powder. In the pan, the powder has visible swirls of blue, pink, and yellow and when applied on the skin, it gives an ethereal iridescent sheen that shifts between green, gold, and pink. I presume that each highlighter is unique and because mine has a larger proportion of gold/green, it gives more of a fairy, mermaid vibe.

Formulation-wise, this is pretty similar to the Love Light Prismatic Highlighters (see here). The texture is incredibly thin, silky, and lightweight. In terms of the pigmentation, however, the Diamond Light Highlighter performs a lot better. A light dusting provides a noticeable sheen and if you want, the powder can be built to an intense, high-shine sheen.

Too Faced Pure Gold Loose Glitter: Review and Swatches
Too Faced Pure Gold Loose Glitter
Too Faced Pure Gold Loose Glitter ($22 CAD):
Designed for both face and body use, this is a very fine and silky loose gold glitter. Housed in a 2g shaker jar, the glitter is infused with real gold. The packaging is pretty messy to use as it's hard to control how much product comes out but the glitter itself is very pretty! The texture is so fine that I wouldn't even call it a glitter. It's more of a shimmer that's perfect for packing onto the center of the lids and dusting on the shoulders and decolletage area.

Too Faced Melted Gold Lip Gloss ($25 CAD):
Obviously, the Chocolate Gold look is not complete without a little gold on your lips. Made with real gold, the Melted Gold Lip Gloss is a clear lip gloss packed with fine gold shimmers. The formulation is emollient and shiny but a tad sticky. And although the gloss contains a lot of gold shimmers, it requires several swipes to get a decently-even finish. I recommend blending this out on top of bold lipstick as using it by itself results in a patchy gold finish that's a little too avant-garde for my taste.

Overall, this is an amazing collection! Too Faced has knocked it out of the park with the Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette and I am also very impressed with the Diamond Light Highlighter and the Pure Gold Loose Glitter.
