A new take on last year's Terre de Lumiere from L'Occitane, the Terre de Lumiere L'Eau is described as a "crystalline blooming scent with a tender floral heart". Housed in a flat, disc-shaped bottle tinted with a white ombre effect, Terre de Lumiere L'Eau opens with a flash of sharp bergamot before quickly revealing its alluring, floral center. Similar to the original, the bottle of Terre de Lumiere L'Eau is capped off with a pink, gem-like cap.
L'Occitane | Terre de Lumiere L'Eau Gentle Shower Gel ($22 CAD for 250ml) & Beautifying Body Milk ($34 CAD for 250ml):
Softly scented with the Terre de Lumiere L'Eau fragrance, this shower gel and body lotion duo makes for the perfect add-on gifts. With a soft floral scent, the Gentle Shower Gel is pretty standard while the Beautifying Body Milk has a lightweight, quick-absorbing formulation. It is made with sunflower seed oil, shea butter, and honey, in addition to a subtle sprinkle of iridescent sparkles. If you ask me, the Beautifying Body Milk is actually worth purchasing on its own if you are a fan of shimmery body lotions!

Top Notes: Bergamot, pink pepper, black currant.
Heart Notes: Peony, bitter almonds.
Base Notes: Musk, tonka beans.
To me, this is your quintessential sweet floral that's completely unlike the original gourmand Terre de Lumiere (reviewed here). The black currant and peony combine to form a mouthwatering fruity-floral accord while the bitter almonds and tonka beans are a little harder to detect. The fragrance has great sillage and it wears for at least six to seven hours with minimal fading. Overall, this is not a unique scent but if you are looking for an elegant, crowd-pleasing floral for spring and summer, definitely check this out.
