Tempura-ture is Rising:
A bright orange with an almost neon quality, Tempura-ture is Rising is smooth and pigmented. Two coats provide a mostly even finish but I needed three on a few nails to ensure complete opacity.

I'm On a Sushi Roll:
A gorgeous muted turquoise, I'm On a Sushi Roll has a creamy and smooth formulation. The polish is decently pigmented but I found the application just a tad streaky so I used three coats to attain a completely opaque coverage.

Rice Rice Baby:
One of my favorite colors from the collection, Rice Rice Baby is a dusty pale rose with a subtle hint of mauve. The polish applies darker than it appears in the bottle. Unfortunately, the formulation is a touch patchy so I needed three coats for the swatches below.

Chopstix and Stones:

The Spring 2019 Tokyo Collection is a decent release from OPI. The color selection is heavy on pinks and purples so people who love those shades have many to choose from. I'm personally a bit disappointed with the overall formulation as many shades required three coats for an opaque and even coverage. My personal recommendations are Tempura-ture is Rising!, I'm On a Sushi Roll, and All Your Dreams in Vending Machines. Have you spotted this collection in stores yet? Which shade is your favorite?

Availability:
The OPI Tokyo Spring 2019 Collection is available in the original, GelColor, and Infinite Shine formulation starting February 1st, 2019.
