Charlotte Tilbury | Celestial Eyes Luxury Palette of Pops
Charlotte Tilbury | Celestial Eyes Luxury Palette of Pops ($66 CAD for 5.2 g):
If you are familiar with Charlotte Tilbury's Luxury Eye Palettes, then you'll know that in every quad, there is a fun and glittery "Pop" shade. For those that love the sparkly lid toppers, the new Celestial Eyes Luxury Palette of Pops is a gift from above. With four glimmery shades made with pearl pigments, the palette is housed in a special edition starburst case that's definitely collection-worthy. Despite having a high sparkle content, the formulation is silky and smooth with a wet, cream-like feel. There are some minor fallouts, which are preventable by applying the shadows with your fingertips instead of a brush.

Although all four shades are technically "Pops", the quad is still labeled according to the conventional Luxury Eye Palette names. "1 Prime" is a pearly pink champagne shimmer; because it doesn't have a lot of base pigment, it shows up as a sheer glitter topper. "2 Enhance" is a muted peachy mauve shimmer. Unlike "1 Prime", it has a bit more color so it provides more than just glitter. A warm orange-gold, "3 Pop" is the most festive shade out of the four. Like "2 Enhance", it's nicely pigmented, providing the right balance of color and shine. Last but least is "4 Smoke", a deep plummy burgundy packed with light burgundy sparkles. This one is the most pigmented out of the bunch so a little goes a long way in smoking out the crease.

Charlotte Tilbury | Instant Look in a Palette in "Gorgeous, Glowing Beauty": Review and Swatches
Charlotte Tilbury | Instant Look in a Palette in "Gorgeous, Glowing Beauty"
Charlotte Tilbury | Instant Look in a Palette in "Gorgeous, Glowing Beauty" ($85 CAD for 22 g):
Also housed in super fun and festive special edition packaging, the Gorgeous, Glowing Beauty Instant Look in a Palette is an all-in-one face palette with three eyeshadows (2 g each), two cheek colors (2 g each), a bronzer (6g), and a highlighter (6 g). For the shadows, the palette includes "1 Eye Brighten", a shimmery champagne with a subtle hint of mauve, "2 Eye Enhance", a warm burgundy brown satin, and "3 Eye Smoke", a matte pink-maroon. Interestingly, the palette I received contained two "2 Eye Enhance" and no "3 Eye Smoke", which I didn't even realize until I swatched all three and found the latter two eerily similar. This quality assurance goof is definitely a bummer but since the palette I received is a free press sample, I can't really complain. With that said, I'm certain that if a paying customer received a palette like mine, customer service would happily offer an exchange.

Now moving onto the rest of the palette. "4 Face Bronze" is a light neutral bronze with a satin finish and a very subtle dash of golden sparkles. "5 Cheek Swish" is a warm pink champagne shimmer that easily doubles as a highlighter while  "6 Cheek Pop" is a satin petal pink. Lastly, "7 Face Highlight" is a classic champagne shimmer. Needless to say, every single shade in the palette is beautifully formulated. The pigmentation is just right while the texture is rich and creamy. Personally, this palette is not for me as I already own every shade here in one form or another. However, for those new to Charlotte Tilbury or for those that don't have or often use a lot of makeup, this is a great all-in-one palette to invest in.

For those not familiar, Charlotte's Magic Cream is the brand's best-selling moisturizer formulated with vitamin C, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, camellia oil, rosehip roil, shea butter, aloe vera, and various plant extracts. The lightweight but ultra-hydrating formulation is a great primer for fresh, glowing makeup. The Magic Night Cream, on the other hand, is a newer product that I have yet to try. Formulated with Winter Daphne stem cell extract, red algae extract, Frangipani flower extract, retinol, vitamin C, and plant-derived peptides, the cream looks thicker and more balm-like. I'll definitely be giving it a try and will update this post with my thoughts.
