Belif | Aqua Bomb Cleansing Bomb: Review
Belif just expanded its skincare family with a new cleanser that promises to gently remove all traces of dirt and makeup! Formulated with nourishing and antioxidant-rich plant extracts that are certified clean at Sephora, the Aqua Bomb Cleansing Balm (C$45 for 100 ml) "transforms from a balm to cream to oil", offering a hydrating and nourishing clean. Belif | Aqua Bomb Cleansing Balm: Review
Belif | Aqua Bomb Cleansing Balm
Packaged in a simple plastic jar, the Aqua Bomb Cleansing Bomb comes with a small spatula for scooping the balm. The formulation contains lotus flower, mashmallow root, and lady's mantle to provide the skin with antioxidant, hydrating, and pore-minimizing effects. With a soft citrus scent, the balm turns into a rich oil when applied onto dry skin. To remove, wet your hands to emulsify the oil with water until a milky cream takes from. Then, rinse everything off with warm water. The balm is nourishing and non-drying, removing dirt and makeup (including waterproof eyeliner and mascara). There's no greasy residue but the Aqua Bomb Cleansing Balm does not wash off as cleanly as some of the other cleansing balms I've tried (ex. Farmacy Green Clean, Estee Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm). There's just the teeniest bit of residue left over that makes me want to follow up with a regular cleanser. However, this is very much a pet peeve of mine so most people probably won't have an issue with this. Overall, this is a great cleansing balm! I wouldn't necessarily recommend it over many of the alternatives given how saturated the market is but if you love Belif and are looking for a clean, effective, and reasonably well-priced option, then definitely give this a try!
