Last year Bite Beauty announced their goal of going completely vegan for 2020 and as a result, they discontinued the majority of their beloved lip products. Fortunately, they've been slowly unveiling new vegan creations and one of the major releases is the Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon (C$32 for 1.5 g). Available in 20 shades, this new lip crayon promises to deliver a comfortable, creamy, and bold color in a slim and precise packaging. I've got four shades to share with you today. Packaging:
Housed in a twist-up and retractable crayon similar to that of Bite's Crystal Crème Shimmer Lip Crayon (reviewed here), the Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon has a tapered tip that provides a precise application. At the bottom of the crayon is a hidden sharpener that can be used to maintain a pointed tip. However, as the crayon is only 1.5 g, a lot of product would be wasted in the sharpening process so I would recommend just using a lip liner to achieve a clean application.

Formulation:
Made with jojoba oil, shea butter, mango butter, pomegranate extract, and orange peel wax, the Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon is extremely creamy, nourishing, and pigmented. Despite the "matte" description, the finish has a noticeable sheen that makes the lips look plump and hydrated. There's no settling and patching but because the formulation is quite slick, the color is prone to smudging and transferring so touch-ups are needed after eating and drinking. Additionally, the lip crayon has a sweet citrus scent and it gives the lips a subtle cooling sensation.

Pastille: This is a cool-tone rosy mauve. The color is a lot more purple-grayish than I expected, not quite my cup of tea but the formulation is excellent.
Red Velvet: This is a deep warm red with a smooth and intense pigmentation. It's a bit too vampy for this time of the year but it makes for a great winter lip color.
Brandy: My personal favorite of the bunch, this is a warm dusty rose. The color is just a touch deeper than it appears in my swatches below. If you are a fan of muted berries, this is a must-have!
