As you may know from my last post, I've been testing out a lot of Herbivore products lately. So today, I wanted to introduce to you a couple of classics from the brand. Packaged in a tall and elegant glass bottle, the Pink Cloud Creamy Jelly Cleanser is a gentle gel cleanser formulated with hydrating rosewater, nourishing squalane, soothing aloe juice, and moisturizing tremella mushroom extract. With a cloudy, light pink appearance and a subtle rosy scent, the cleanser has a slick and runny consistency that spreads smoothly onto the skin. The Pink Cloud Creamy Jelly Cleanser lathers surprisingly well, creating a cushiony light foam that easily removes all dirt, oil, and most makeup. The cleanser washes off easily with warm water and leaves the skin feeling super soft, moisturized, and clean. Overall, this is an excellent everyday gel cleanser, perfect for all skin types.

Herbivore | Coco Rose Exfoliating Body Scrub (C$50 for 237 ml):

I'm pretty lazy when it comes to body care products but every once in a while I like to do a thorough full body scrub and that is why I'm a sucker for a good sugar scrub. Housed in a sturdy glass jar with a simple minimalist design, the Coco Rose Exfoliating Body Scrub from Herbivore is a nourishing sugar scrub formulated with virgin coconut oil, shea butter, and Morrocan rose extract. With a surprisingly subtle rose scent (no added fragrance here), the Coco Rose Exfoliating Body Scrub has a thick grainy texture that's not too chunky or crumbly so it applies nicely onto the skin without too much fallout.

The sugar particles provide an effective but non-abrasive exfoliation before slowly dissolving onto the skin. There is a slight oily residue after rinsing so I personally follow it up with a body wash. I know this kind of defeats the nourishing properties of the coconut oil and shea but I like my skin feeling squeaky clean after the shower. Overall I'm definitely a fan but my only hesitation is the steep price tag. $50 is a lot and depending on how much scrub you use at a time, the entire jar won't last long. However, if you are ever looking for a treat for yourself or as a gift for a loved one, then this is worth the splurge.
