Belif | Moisturizing Bomb Toner & Aqua Bomb PHA Exfoliating Toner Pads: Review
I've used a lot of Belif products in the past but I've actually never tried any toners from the brand. Granted, Belif is most known for its moisturizers (namely The True Cream Aqua Bomb and The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb, reviewed here), but the brand has amped up its toner offerings in the past few years. Today I will be talking about the Aqua Bomb PHA Exfoliating Toner Pads (C$32.50 for 70 Pads) and the Moisturizing Bomb Toner (C$40.50 for 150 ml). To read all about them, click......

Belif | Aqua Bomb PHA Exfoliating Toner Pad
Belif | Aqua Bomb PHA Exfoliating Toner Pad (C$32.50 for 70 Pads):
Packaged in a plastic jar with a small tweezer for retrieving the toner pads, this is a gentle exfoliating toner formulated with 2% PHA (gluconolactone). Bigger than AHAs, PHAs do not penetrate as deeply into the skin, making them a better chemical exfoliant for those with sensitive skin. Also formulated with cica (Centella Asiatic) extract, oat extract, hyaluronic acid, and a plethora of other skin-loving botanical extracts, the Aqua Bomb PHA Exfoliating Toner Pad has a light watery consistency and the textured toner pad surface provides some light physical exfoliation. The product has a subtle citrus scent and the alcohol-free and silicone-free formulation feels instantly soothing and hydrating on the skin. Due to environmental reasons, I find toner pads a bit wasteful. However, I brought these on my recent vacation and they proved to be super convenient and travel-friendly. Overall, this is a gentle and well-formulated exfoliating toner. Also given the reasonable price, I would recommend giving it a try!

Belif | Moisturizing Bomb Toner (C$40.50 for 150 ml):
Formulated with ceramides, squalane, shea butter, and macadamia oil, the Moisturizing Bomb Toner from Belif is a very nourishing toner with a slightly viscous, milky consistency and a light citrus scent. Perfect for drier skin, the toner spreads and absorbs very nicely onto the skin, leaving behind a lightly dewy finish that's not greasy or heavy. The formulation does contain alcohol, which is slightly problematic as alcohol can be drying and sensitizing for some people. However, I've not experienced any of those issues myself and I feel that there are enough nourishing ingredients in the formulation to balance out any potential negative impacts of the alcohol. Overall, I quite enjoyed this toner and can see my skin really appreciating its moisturizing properties in the winter months.
