Annabelle CC Colour Control Luminous Finish Instant Perfecting Base: Review and Swatches

Happy Friday everyone! Oh boy am I glad that the weekend is almost here, I feel like I can finally take a breather and really catch up on some blogging and relaxing.
Today I have a makeup/foundation primer Annabelle called the CC Colour Control Instant Perfecting Base Luminous Finish ($16.95) to show you. This product promises to blur the looks of pores and fine lines, reduce redness, and give skin a luminous finish. To see how well it works, click......
The primer comes in a nice sleek bottle with a mess free pump dispenser. The product very much reminds me of MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance (reviewed here) in that it's not like your conventional makeup primer, it doesn't have a heavy silinone-y feel and applies almost like a light face cream.
Unblended Swatch
The CC Colour Control Luminous Finish Instant Perfecting Base contains a lot of micro shimmer particles (as you can see in the unblended swatch above), but after it is blended into the skin the shimmer gives only a very subtle luminous effect that's really only noticeable under direct sunlight, especially if you wear a medium/high coverage foundation over it.
Blended swatch.
The formulation of this primer is not one that will extend your makeup wear significantly nor will it keep oiliness at bay. However, this product does blur pores, erases unevenness, dullness, and aid in the application of your foundation as it provides a nice smooth base that will conceal dryness and flakiness.
At almost a third of a price of the MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance, the Annabelle CC Colour Control Luminous Finish Instant Perfecting Base is definitely a primer worth testing out if your main
skin concern is dullness and unevenness!

Availability:
The Annabelle CC Colour Control Luminous Finish Instant Perfecting Base is available online (ships to both Canada and US) and in drugstores across Canada.
