Guess what!
Nail Polish Canada is once again holding a
Nail Art Challenge (
give me a vote, I'm "thehappysloths.com") and this one is themed around all things summer! I decided to go a little fruity and did a freehand strawberry manicure. I initially did a fruit salad with kiwi, orange, and dragon fruit but I didn't think the finished look was cohesive enough, so I opted for all strawberries.
For the base I used "
Coral of the Story" from Nicole by OPI, which is fast becoming my favorite go-to summer color and for the leaves I used a combination of China Glaze "Starboard" and Essence "L.O.L". The seeds I did using a combination of Essie's "
Urban Jungle" and "
Fierce, No Fear".
