It's not often that Sephora brings in new brands to their stores so when they do you know it's good! Created by two Canadian teens with a bit of help from their chemical engineer mother, Nudestix is a new line of makeup crayons designed for girls and women who prefer their makeup to be simple and natural. Today I want to share with your three products from this new brand so if you are interested, click.......
Nudestix Lip + Cheek Pencil, Eye Pencil & Magnetic Eye Color: Review and Swatches
Packaging:
The line currently has five products and all except the mascara is in crayon form. The crayons are not twist up and thus require manual sharpening. But no worries, each crayon comes with its own sharpener that can be attached to either end of the pencil. Each pencil also comes with its own tin which has a matte black finish. The tins have a long rectangular mirror on its underside.
I personally am not a fan of the black tins; they are cute but I find them a bit excess and bulky, for storage or on-the-go.

Formulation & Pigmentation:
Lip + Cheek Pencil in "Blush" ($28 CAD):
This is a mauve-y peach lip and cheek color. When worn on the lips, it provides a semi-opaque coverage with a natural sheen and when worn on the cheeks, it provides a very natural flush of color. The color is surprisingly long wearing and the shea butter and vitamin E in the formula keeps things hydrated.

Eye Pencil in "Pewter" ($28 CAD):
An everyday metallic brown, Pewter is an easy-to-wear eye shadow pencil you can apply and smudge for a simple all-over-the lid look. The wear is phenomenal, it went all day with no smudging or creasing.
Eye Pencil in "Pewter"
Magnetic Eye Color in "Moon":
This is an all-in-one eye shadow pencils that not only delivers intense color but also primes and highlights. "Moon" is a creamy nude with no shimmers and sparkles, if your skin is around NC20, this works pretty well as a concealer as well. The formulation is rich and pigmented and the wear is phenomenal, it's waterproof and smudge-proof.

Overall:
All these pencil crayons come in eight shades and they are all neutral shades. I am not in love with the black tins as I find them a little excessive and bulky but the formulation of all three products are phenomenal. So if you love nudes, you gotta check out Nudestix!
