Packaging:
The A Black Honey Affair Palette has a super sleek silver palette compact that comes with a large mirror and a duo-ended sponge/brush applicator.
The Almost Lipstick in Black Honey comes in a long and slender silver packaging. The cap is shiny and the base has a matte finish.

Formulation:
The shadows are an assortment of warm-tone browns and purples:

• shimmery white
• metallic taupe
• warm brown metallic
• champagne brown metallic
• dark chocolate brown with reddish brown shimmers
• matte purple
• satin lavender
• greyish purple metallic 

All the metallic and shimmers are nicely pigmented and smooth. The matte purple is a tad patchy but not too chalky.

The Almost Lipstick in Black Honey looks almost black in the tube but it is surprisingly sheer and wearable when applied. It has a balmy and lightweight texture in a plummy, warm wine color. This is a gorgeous shade that really complements the natural lip color!

Overall:
I've long loved the Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. I got my first one as a gift with purchase from Clinique when I was still in high school. The formulation is so beautiful and the color is so wearable! Additionally, I am totally in love with this new A Black Honey Affair palette, it complements the lip color very nicely and the two together make a great holiday gift!
