Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour & Sculpting Highlight: Review and Swatches
As you know, the biggest beauty trend of 2015 is contouring. Pretty much every brand has released a contouring palette and Clinique now has its own contouring must-haves in the form of the beloved Chubby Sticks. Featuring an oil-free creamy formulation in a push-up form, the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour and Sculpting Highlight ($24 CAD) work in unison to provide the face with a more defined, sculpted look. Packaging:
The Sculpting Contour and Sculpting Highlight come in a fat crayon form (same as the Chubby Stick Cheek Color Balms) with a simple twist-up dispenser. The tips come nicely rounded for easy application.

Formulation:
The Sculpting Highlight is a pale shimmer cream with a pink undertone. The formulation is very lightweight and the shimmer is very fine, not at all gritty or overly sparkly. The shimmer blends very beautifully to provide a natural sheen to the skin.
The Sculpting Contour is a matte bronze cream, this shade is slightly too warm for my liking, making me wish Clinique offered more shades for this color. The pigmentation is great and it blends nicely so it's easy to vary how intense the contouring effect is.

Here I am with a light application of both the highlight and contour shade on my cheek area. The highlight as you can see is very subtle, it's really something you won't notice right out but it does make a difference to the face.

Overall:
If you love cream highlights/blush/bronzers, you will love these Chubby Sticks from Clinique. The formulation for both is creamy and easy to blend. The highlight is very natural but the sculpting color is a bit too warm/orange for my liking so hopefully Clinique comes out with a few more shades of each!

Clinique is available online and in stores at Sephora, The Bay, Shoppers, and Sears.
