Packaging:
The shadow is generously sized at 2 grams and it comes in a simple black compact. The shadow pan is actually removable as the compact is magnetic. This is amazing as I know a lot of us like to depot single shadows and keep them in a palette to save space. Also the shadows are pressed with a mermaid tail scale design, super cute!

Formulation:
"Mermaid Tail" is a beautiful misty grey blue with a reddish brown duochrome. The effect is pretty strong even when worn on the lids. The formulation is creamy soft with nice pigmentation. I also love the fact that the shimmers are fine and not at all chunky. Unlike the Urban Decay Moon Dust duochromes released for Spring 2015, this is actually pigmented enough to be worn on its own.

Overall:

The formulation of this shadow is great; it's buttery smooth and amazingly pigmented. Additionally, this shade has a beautiful ethereal feel to it and the grey blue and brownish red duochrome effect is very strong!
