Maybelline The Nudes & The Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palettes: Review and Swatches
Not too long ago, Maybelline released its own neutral palette called The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette ($16.99 CAD) and now for Summer 2015, The Nudes is getting a makeover! With an added pink glow, The Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palette ($16.99 CAD) is a rose gold version of the original. To see some swatches of both palettes, click......

Packaging:

Both The Nudes and The Blushed Nudes come in a plastic compact with a clear window on the front. Interestingly, The Nudes palette comes with one duo-sided sponge applicator while The Blushed Nudes palette comes with two. The shiny black packaging of The Nudes is a bit prone to scratching and smudges while the rose gold pearlescent Blushed Nudes palette has a fancier feel. Each shadow has 0.8 grams of product.

Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palette
Overall:
Both palettes are decent for the price and the number of shadows you get. The Nudes has a lot of few very nice and saturated metallics, but some of the mattes are quite sheer and patchy. The Blushed Nudes also holds a nice number of pretty metallics, but it also has a few too many sheer shimmers that end up looking way too similar when swatched. My pick out of the two is The Nudes, that stunning copper brown metallic alone makes it worth the investment.

Availability:
The Nudes Palette is available now in stores. The Blushed Nudes is available starting June 2015.
