Benefit Mission Accomplished Kit Pore Kit: Review and Swatches
Although it's not even October yet, pretty much every makeup brand is already cranking out holiday collections and gift sets. Today I want to share with you an adorable complexion kit from Benefit, available exclusively at Sephora. With four handy minis and a preview sample of a new release, the Mission Accomplished Pore Kit ($44 CAD) has everything you need to banish shine and pores. To see what's inside, click.......
Benefit Mission Accomplished Pore Kit
Packaging:
The Mission Accomplished Pore Kit comes in a sturdy cardboard box that's kind of shaped like a small handbook. Inside there are a couple sheet of tips and tricks pamphlet which when flipped open reveal a nice and big mirror. All the products have their own slots so they stay pretty secure inside the box.
Left: The Porefessional License to Blot
Right: Dr. FeelGood
The Porefessional License to Blot Instant Oil-Blotting Stick:
A tiny pocket-friendly version of the newly released blotting stick, Porefessional License to Blot is pretty much a stick version of a mattifying balm. The formulation instantly takes away shine, leaving behind a nice, smooth, and matte finish. Check out my full review of the product here.

Dr. FeelGood Velvety Complexion Balm:
This is a classic from Benefit that works pretty similarly to The Porefessional License to Blot. Essentially, it is a smoothing and mattifying balm that can be used alone of under makeup. This one comes in the most adorable miniature tin, it even holds with a tiny sponge applicator!
Left: The Porefessional Agent Zero Shine
Right: The Porefessional
The Porefessional Agent Zero Shine:
The only powder product out of the bunch, Agent Zero Shine is a blotting powder that can be applied throughout the day to take away shine. The little jar comes with a small brush for application; however, the brush is not very travel-friendly because it doesn't have a cap or a reusable cover.

The Porefessional:
This is the pioneer in the Porefessional range. A smoothing primer that minimizes pores and smooths the skin, The Porefessional can be used under or over makeup and this mini comes in a cute squeezable tube.

Shy Beam:
Last but not least is the sneak peek preview sample. A brightening nude pink matte liquid highlighter, Shy Beam will be a new addition to the Benefit tint family. The formulation is super smooth and the color blends out very evenly, brightening the skin, perfect for use on the brow bone, the cheeks, and even the under eye area. It actually kind of reminds me of a liquid version of Eye Bright.

Overall:
This kit is pretty much packed to the brim with primers and blotting balms, so in terms of offering a bit of everything, it's not that great. With that said, if you are looking to try out a whole bunch of different primers or blotters from Benefit, this is the kit to get. All the samples are travel-friendly and the bonus Shy Beam is a great addition as well!
