Formula X #ColorCurators Atlantic-Pacific Collection: Review and Swatches

For September, the Formula X Color Curators Collection continues with a collaboration with fashion blogger Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific. Full of moody, fall-appropriate blues, the collection is available at Sephora now. To see some swatches and my thoughts on the formulation, click.......

Pacific Haze:
A soft gray with just a hint of blue, Pacific Haze is decently pigmented albeit a tad thick. I used two coats for the swatches below.

Atlantic Mist:

This is a dusty blue-gray cream. The color is very beautiful but the formulation is not fantastic. The coverage is slightly lacking so I needed up to three coats on some nails to get a perfect finish.

Taken By Storm:
An inky charcoal blue, Taken by Storm is disappointingly sheer. For a shade this deep I was really expecting an intense pigmentation and a full coverage. However, I needed up to three coats on some nails to get a completely even and smooth finish.
