OPI Fall 2017 Iceland Collection: Review and Swatches
For Fall and Winter 2017, OPI is taking us on a journey to the Nordic island of Iceland. Full of dusty browns and muted creams, the OPI Iceland Collection is a dream for those with a penchant for unique and sophisticated winter colors. I've got swatches for all 12 shades for you today so to see the photos and read my reviews, click.....

I'll Have A Gin & Tectonic:
A gorgeous smoky peach cream, I'll Have A Gin & Tectonic has a slightly sheer formulation. Two coats are opaque enough if you apply carefully but I needed a third coat on a couple of nails to attain a completely even coverage.

This Isn't Greenland:
This is a unique pale mossy green-beige cream. The formulation seems a bit sheer with the first coat but with a second coat, the coverage is even and opaque.

Reykjavik Has All the Hot Spots:
A shimmery rosy mauve, this shade is decently pigmented and fairly streak-free. I used two coats for the swatches below.

Aurora Berry-alis:
Another favorite of my, Aurora Berry-alis is a creamy dusty rose. The formulation is winner; it's pigmented, rich, and super self-leveling.

Check Out the Old Geysirs:
A pale icy blue with a hint of gray, Check Out the Old Geysirs has a subtle sprinkling of super fine shimmers. I thought the pigmentation might be very sheer but this shade is actually rich and buttery. I used two coats for the swatches below.

Turn On the Northern Lights!:
This is a stunning dark denim blue with a very subtle splash of iridescent orange/gold micro-shimmers. The formulation is a little sheer but still opaque in two coats. I wish the shimmers are more noticeable but the color is very unique.

Icelanded A Bottle of OPI:
This is a neutral taupe-greige cream that's pretty similar to the recent Chanel "578 New Dawn". Icelanded A Bottle of OPI appears cooler in the swatches here because of the lighting I used but the two shades are essentially dupes. The formulation is a little sheer but two coats are enough for a mostly opaque coverage.

A cool-tone dark chocolate cream, Krona-logical Order is another pigmented and buttery shade.

Suzi & The Arctic Fox:

Overall, I am very pleased with this collection! Because last fall's Washington Collection was such a dud, I was really scared that these polishes are going to be sheer and watery. However, the vast majority of the shades are rich and pigmented. My personal recommendations are Aurora Berry-alis, One Heckla of A Color, and Less is Norse.
What are your thoughts about these colors? Will you be picking anything up from the collection? Let me know in the comments below!
