Recently, there's a new hair care brand available at Shoppers Drug Mart called Authentic Beauty Concept. Made with clean, vegan ingredients, this is a premium haircare brand offering a whole range of cleansing and styling products. Authentic Beauty Concept | Glow Cleanser & Glow Conditioner

Packaged in 80% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles with a very chic matte finish, the Authentic Beauty Concept Glow Cleanser and Glow Conditioner are silicone-free and sulphate-free to preserve and hydrate colored hair. The Glow Cleanser produces a sufficiently potent lather that makes the hair feel clean but not stripped while the Glow Conditioner makes the hair smooth and silky. The standout quality of these two products, though, is definitely the scent. Generally, hair products have a simple sweet or fruity scent but the Authentic Beauty Concept Glow Cleanser and Glow Conditioner have a very sophisticated floral gourmand fragrance with notes of dried dates and cinnamon.

Not only is the scent quite strong but it also lingers all day. Personally, I love it! The products are pretty much haircare and hair fragrances at the same time. However, if you are sensitive to heavier scents or work in a fragrance-free environment, you may have to avoid this collection. Given the higher price point, these are probably not going to be my everyday, go-to haircare products. However, if you want to treat yourself on days when you want to feel a little fancier, they are worth the splurge.
