Beauty of Joseon | Dynasty Cream (C$24 for 50 ml):
The first product created by Beauty of Joseon, the Dynasty Cream is an all-in-one face cream formulated with rice bran water (29%), ginseng water (5%), niacinamide (2%), and squalane (2%). With no discernable scent, the cream has a somewhat thick and creamy consistency that easily glides onto the skin. The formulation quickly absorbs and does not feel heavy or greasy. With a silicone-free formulation, the cream does not pill or patch. Overall, this is a really solid everyday face cream. For someone with combination skin, the formulation works well for both night and day during fall and winter but it might be a bit heavy for daytime use during the summer. Given its amazing ingredient list and super affordable pricing, the Dynasty Cream is definitely a recommendation from me.

Beauty of Joseon | Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics (SPF50+ PA++++) Sunscreen (C$18 for 50 ml):
Making its rounds all over social media this year, the Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics (SPF50+ PA++++) is a facial sunscreen containing chemical UV filters (underlined in the ingredient list below). With a very light, creamy formulation, the sunscreen also contains rice extract (30%), niacinamide, coconut, kelp, and ginseng. The sunscreen applies super smoothly onto the skin. There's initially a dewy glow but that quickly sets to a natural, no-shine finish. For my combination skin, the sunscreen alone provides enough hydration during the summer but for the rest of the year, I would pair wear it with a light moisturizer or serum. For darker skin, the Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics (SPF50+ PA++++) may leave a very slight white cast. Of the three sunscreens I bought from Stylvana, the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun is definitely my favourite thanks to its amazingly refreshing and light formulation. It's also worth noting that the formulation washes off easily with a regular cleanser. If you are like me and have struggled with using sunscreens on a daily basis, this may be your answer!
