Packaged in a squeezable semi-hard plastic bottle with a fine-nozzle opening and a cap that clicks on securely yet removes easily, the Lancôme UV Expert Supra Screen UV Serum is a lightweight chemical sunscreen formulated with niacinamide, vitamin C, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, and carnosine. It has a pleasant floral fragrance with notes of white tea, rose, bergamot, and musk. The texture is a slightly viscous fluid that blends out easily and leaves no white cast. The finish is non-greasy with a soft, dewy sheen. I appreciate that the formulation is silicone-free, as many North American chemical sunscreens tend to be silicone-heavy. The sunscreen wears beautifully throughout the day, with no excessive shine, pilling, or patching although I've not tested it under makeup.

Overall, this is a lovely chemical sunscreen with an elegant formulation. My only real gripe is the price, as C$72 is quite steep, especially when popular Asian beauty brands such as Round Lab, Beauty of Joseon, and Biore offer equal or superior options at a fraction of the cost. One additional concern I have is that it was surprisingly difficult to find the full ingredient list for this sunscreen online in Canada. I had to check the US Lancôme website. I am not sure whether this is an e-commerce oversight, but I suspect that the omission of the active sunscreen ingredients on Canadian retailer sites (including Sephora and Shoppers Drug Mart) may be related to the strict Canadian sunscreen regulations.
Active Ingredients: Avobenzone 3%, Homosalate 7%, Octisalate 5%, and Octocrylene 7%.
Other Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, C15-19 Alkane, Niacinamide, Propanediol, C12-22 Alkyl Acrylate/Hydroxyethylacrylate Copolymer, Tocopherol, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sclerotium Gum, Hydroxyacetophenone, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Starch Octenylsuccinate, Glyceryl Stearate, Jojoba Esters, Carnosine, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Wax, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Sodium Hydroxide, Polyglycerin-3, and Fragrance.
