Packaging:
Housed in the most adorable gift box shaped like the pretty hotel from Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel, the Grande Hotel Cafe is a palette set that includes three separate small cardboard palettes and a travel-sized Better Than Sex Mascara (4.8 gram). Each palette has a unique theme and each holds six 1.14 gram shadows and one 5.39 gram cheek powder.

Although I personally would have preferred one large palette that holds all the shades together, I am still quite pleased with the packaging of this set. For one, everything is so well-designed. The box opens up to reveal the cutest artwork and each palette has its own design printed on the lid. Additionally, the smaller palette size allows for easy gifting. On the back of each, there is actually a blank "to" and "from" section that you can fill out if you decided to give these out as stocking stuffers!

Formulation:
Too Faced has been very consistent with its eyeshadow formulations so the chalky sheerness of some of the shades in this set leaves me quite disappointed. Interestingly, the palettes in this set are made in China, as opposed to the usual manufacturing origin of USA. This leads me to believe that the formulation for these shadows aren't the same as the usual Too Faced shadows and you can really feel the difference when you swatch them. All the shades have a thinner texture in comparison to the usual Too Faced shadows and the majority are very sheer and not very buildable. None of these shadows are horrible by any means, but the quality just doesn't compare to I what I've come to expect from Too Faced. The three cheek powders, in comparison, are all fairly good. Lastly, the powders are not scented, unlike that of the The Chocolate Shop.

Eggnog Latte:
Frosty Nog: This is a very sheer matte creamy white; the formulation is super thin and chalky.
Eggnog Latte: This is a shimmery pale gold; it's a little fallout-prone.
Iced Coffee: Silky warm brown shimmer; the texture of this is a tad thin but the formulation is pigmented.
Skinny Latte: Very sheer soft matte brown.
Cold Brew: This is a sheer soft brown shimmer packed with iridescent sparkles.
Central Park: Semi-sheer shimmery forest green; the texture for this shade is smooth but not as rich as I would have expected.
Peach Cobbler: This is a lovely matte peach blush. The formulation is actually not bad, pretty on par with normal Too Faced blushes. For swatches, scroll to near the end of the post.

Peppermint Mocha:
Candy Cane: A pale pastel pink, Candy Cane is pretty sheer but fairly buildable.
Peppermint Cream: A stark white cream, this shade is very sheer and the texture is very thin.
Christmas Blend: This is a rosy champagne glitter that's a tad chunky and fallout-prone.
Peppermint Mocha: A warm brown shimmer, Peppermint Mocha is disappointingly thin, patchy, and sheer for a shade this deep and rich.
Sprinkles: A unique deep pink satin-shimmer, Sprinkles is a shade I was extra disappointed with. As you can see in the swatches, the color is rather patchy and sheer.
Coffee Chip: This is a deep taupe brown with a subtle shimmer. The formulation is not super creamy and rich but it's fairly buildable.
Santa Baby: A pretty light matte pink, Santa Baby is pigmented with a nice and silky formulation. For swatches, scroll to near the end of the post.

Ginger Cream: A matte creamy beige, Ginger Cream is so sheer that I almost can't see it on my arm (as evident by the fact that I almost missed it when I photographed the swatches).
Maple Syrup: This is a sheer Maple Syrup; the formulation is patchy and thin.
Gingersnap: Perhaps the only standout shade out of this set, Gingersnap is a very interesting copper-gold shimmer with an almost foil-like quality. This shade is very pigmented but slightly fallout-prone.
Winter Dream: This is a sheer mauve glitter.
Cup of Joe: This is a super deep chocolate brown with golden sparkles. The formulation is decently pigmented.
Black Coffee: A matte charcoal black, Black Coffee is patchy and dry.
Gingerbread: This is a soft brown bronzer with a tiny dash of shimmers. The formulation is pretty pigmented and easy to blend. Scroll further down for some swatches.
