When Youth To The People sent me their new Superclay Purify + Clear Power Mask (reviewed here) to test out, they also sent along their beloved Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser (C$47 for 237 ml). Literally the number one best-selling face cleanser at Sephora, the Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser promises to "remove makeup, prevent buildup in pores, and support skin’s pH balance". So, does this cleanser stand to all its praises? Read my review to find out......

Available in three different sizes (including one extra-large refill size), the Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser from Youth To The People comes in a very nice glass bottle topped with a pump dispenser. The packaging is very pretty, quite apt for the minimalist, millennial aesthetic. Formulated with cold-pressed kale, spinach, and green tea, the cleanser is packed with phytonutrients, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants. With a very light citrus scent, the cleanser has a light gel formulation that creates a nice lather.

The formulation isn't drying and leaves the skin feeling clean and fresh. It will remove most makeup and skincare but double cleansing is still needed for stubborn, waterproof makeup. Quite honestly, I'm not super picky when it comes to cleansers so I'm perhaps not the best critic when it comes to judging cleansers. But from what I can tell, this one is very nicely formulated, beautifully packaged, and reasonably priced. If you are on a market for an everyday gel cleanser that gets the job done, definitely give this one a go!
