Givenchy has some great items this year with their Holiday 2021 Collection. The brand is well known for its Prisme Libre powders and we are getting a new spin on the concept with a highlighter version, alongside a new fragrance and two lipsticks. Givenchy | Holiday 2021 Prisme Libre Highlighter

Givenchy | Holiday 2021 Prisme Libre Highlighter (C$55 for 6 g):

Housed in a sifter jar smaller than that of the iconic Prisme Libre translucent powder, the Prisme Libre Highlighter is a loose powder highlighter with a silky, finely-milled formulation. The shade "10 Organza Or" is a combination of golden pink and warm gold shimmer that combine to form a warm golden champagne that's not sparkly or gaudy. The formulation has a good, pigmented coverage but this is definitely a more subtle highlighter that provides a sophisticated glow.

Givenchy | Holiday 2021 Le Rouge Deep Velvet Lipstick & Le Rouge Lipstick

Givenchy | Holiday 2021 Le Rouge Lipstick (C$49 for 3.4 g):

Givenchy has two limited-edition lipsticks for the Holiday 2021 season. The first is a Le Rouge Lipstick in "501 Copper Nude". Packaged in a black velvet and shiny gold packaging, this is a rosy brown nude with fine gold shimmers. The formulation has a natural satin finish and it's super pigmented and nourishing on the lips.

Givenchy | Holiday 2021 Le Rouge Lipstick in "501 Copper Nude"

Givenchy | Holiday 2021 Le Rouge Deep Velvet Lipstick (C$49 for 3.4 g):

Also packaged in the glam gold and black velvet packaging, the Le Rouge Deep Velvet Lipstick in "37 Rouge Grainé" is a stunning deep red with a blue undertone. This is not a new shade (it was also released in a limited edition packaging last holiday season) but it's such a stunning color, perfect for the holiday season. The formulation is super pigmented and creamy and the finish has a modern matte finish.

Givenchy | L'Interdit Rouge Eau de Parfum

Givenchy | L'Interdit Rouge Eau de Parfum (C$125 for 50 ml):

Housed in a deep red version of the original L'Interdit bottle, this is a new take on the L'Interdit fragrance boasting notes of orange blossom, tuberose, and sandalwood. While the original L'Interdit was a light, white floral, L'Interdit Rouge is much warmer and sweeter. Opening on a refreshing combination of citrus and spice, the fragrance has a strong floral core of jasmine and tuberose. The florals are boosted by the warm base notes, rounding out the fragrance for a full-bodied scent. In my opinion, L'Interdit Rouge is a pretty sharp detour from the original but if you are looking for a sweet, warm floral perfect for the fall and winter months, this is a great choice!  

Top Notes: Blood Orange, Ginger

Heart Notes: Tuberose, Jasmine

Base Notes: Patchouli, Sandalwood, Vetiver
