Nail Polish Canada is holding another nail art contest (sign up here and vote here) and the theme this time is Halloween nails! I love Halloween to no end so I obviously had to come up with something. I saw MoYou London create a great stamping version of a Sally (from The Nightmare Before Christmas) manicure and I decided to recreate a free-hand version using some more gloomy colors. So if you like it, vote for me here (choose The Happy Sloths in the ballot). To see more pictures and see what polishes I used, click.......

Hey guys, Happy Tuesday, today I have a fun (but studious) stamping manicure featuring a couple of MoYou London Scholar Collection stamping plates to share with you! As some of you might know, I graduated in May so this September I am not going back to school (yay!). However, I couldn't help but still attempt a "Back to School" nail art design as lots of them are floating around the internet lately. Hey everyone! Today just feels like a nail art kind of day so I'm sharing with you another look I did recently using the new Hipster Collection plate from MoYou London. This particular black and yellow plaid manicure was inspired by the skirt suit Iggy Azalea wore in her "Fancy" music video (aka the skirt suit Cher wore in Clueless).

Christmas Tree Manicure Tutorial
Hey guys, I am squeezing in a quick manicure tutorial for the Christmas tree nail art post I did earlier this month. So if you looking for a last minute Christmas manicure idea, why not give this a try!
Before starting your manicure, smooth out the edges of your nails with a fine nail filer, then rub your cuticles generously with either hand lotion or cuticle oil. Before you apply your polish, make sure to wipe the lotion/oil off of your nails either with an alcohol pad or a cotton ball soaked in some polish remover. This helps clean the surface of your nails, removing any oil and dirt.

Paul Frank Monkey in Space: Manicure featuring Water Decal Stickers
Disclaimer: The water decal stickers were provided for review.
Hey guys, happy Monday! Today I have a fun and wacky nail art water decal look to share with you all. I remember back in high school, Paul Frank merchandise was all the rage. Every cool kid had at least one screen printed T-shirts with Paul Frank's face in the front. Unfortunately, I never got a shirt like that because they were terribly over-priced. So I was quite delighted to see that Born Pretty Store had some adorable Paul Frank Nail Art Decals ($1.43, use discount code VGL91 for 10% off). To read more, click......Wednesday, November 13, 2013
Feathery Fall Nails: Manicure Featuring Feather Water Decal Nail Stickers
Disclaimer: The water decal stickers were provided for review.
In the continual celebration of the Vancouver gloomy Fall weather, I have a cheery and bright manicure featuring some feather water decal stickers ($4.73)) from Born Pretty Store. These stickers are actually from the giant set of feather nail art stickers I reviewed back in May and again featured in August (it's incredibly the variety of feather designs the set includes).*Update: It appears that Born Pretty Store no longer sells the giant sheet but now sells each feather design separately for $1.99. You still get 20 individual decals but the deal isn't as sweet anymore.

Today I have sort of Halloween themed manicure for you all. Inverse Rainbow Gradient Striped Nails
Hi guys! I have a nail art post for y'all today. I know, it's been too long since I did a nail art post. The truth is, I am incredibly lazy and impatient when it comes to doing my nails so I usually stick with one color and maybe add some water decals. Today's manicure is a reverse gradient design that looks kind of trippy but is fairly easy (though time consuming) to do. To see a quick how-to, the products I used, and a close-up shot, click......
