Pink Gem 2.0: Julep "Mandy" and Nfu-Oh #40

Disclaimer: The following products were purchased by me.
Hello guys, happy Monday and Remembrance Day! I caught a cold over the weekend so I am going to keep this post short and sweet. Back in February this year, not long after The Happy Sloths was born, I did a "Pink Gem" manicure post featuring Essie's "Shine of the Times" over a hot pink from Julep. I replicated the look during the summer using a different hot pink and a different flakie polish! Read more here......

Nail Polish Pedant: Glimmers of Green

My order from Sun and Moon Crafts finally came a few weeks ago and I ordered a few pendants to decorate. The metal pedant tray cost $1 and the glass dome was $0.25.

For this design, I used Nfu-Oh #40, "Make a Spectacle" from China Glaze, hand placed glitter pieces, and "Knockout" (black base) from Revlon. The end result was beyond beautiful and I am extremely happy with it.

If you live in the US, I strongly encourage you to order from Sun and Moon Crafts for jewellery supplies as the store is very organized and easily accessible compared to ebay shops. However, if you order from Canada, shipping can be a bit much. My $20 order had a $10 shipping fee.

Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed this post, come back for more nail polish jewellery designs!

Nfu Oh #40 Flakie Nail Polish: Review and Swatches

A while ago when I was at the pinnacle of my flakie obsession, I ordered one of the apparently very well known flakies from Nfu Oh, a Korean nail polish brand that is manufactured in France. I did a lot of research online to see which one of their flakies I wanted, since each cost $11.50 CAD on Nail Polish Canada. Finally I settled on #40, a green/blue/violet flakie suspended in a clear base. So was the money well spent? Click "read more" to find out......
