Hey y'all Color Tattoo fanatics, time to get really excited because for Fall 2014, Maybelline is releasing a new line of Leather Color Tattoo Cream Shadows ($8.99) inspired by the fall leather trends spotted on the runway. The new Leather Collection has five new shades and each is formulated to be intensely pigmented, long-lasting color, and ultra-creamy. Today I have the shade "Chocolate Suede" to share y'all so to see some swatches and my review, click.......
-A cream gel eye shadow with a super long-lasting formulation
-Lumi matte pigments give the shadows a saturated, matte finish
-Creamy formulation without any dryness or cakiness
The Color Tattoo Leather Cream Shadows come in a flat, wide-mouthed glass jar with a twist-up lid.

Formulation & Pigmentation:
The shade "Chocolate Suede" is a beautiful dark metallic brown. The color is super pigmented but it's also blendable and buildable so you can definitely vary the intensity depending on the look you want to achieve. The formulation is pretty much identical to the original line of Color Tattoos (especially to Bad to the Bronze). When you first apply it with your finger, the shadow feels very creamy and lightweight but as it sets it does dry up a bit and the finish becomes semi-matte (but still metallic). The wear is absolutely amazing, no smudging or fading but I do find that the product becomes a bit dry and cakey after a few hours. However, depending on how oily your lids are, this may not be the case.

Despite the fact that the shadow dries down to a slightly cakey texture on me (after a couple of hours or so), I still really love the product as it is so pigmented and easy to apply. If you loved the previous Color Tattoos that Maybelline has come up with, then you will for sure love this one as well!
The new Leather Color Tattoo Collection will be available starting July 2014.
