UNOVE | No Wash Water Ampoule Treatment & Water Essence Mist: Review
Disclaimer: The products featured were purchased by me.Recently, I visited South Korea for the first time and explored many Olive Young stores during my trip. One of the most popular haircare brands I noticed was UNOVE because its eye-catching branding and packaging immediately stood out to me. With a fairly reasonable price point, UNOVE focuses on repairing damaged hair using vitamins and proteins. To read my thoughts on the UNOVE No Wash Water Ampoule Treatment (~C$30 for 200ml) and UNOVE Water Essence Mist (~C$25 for 200ml), click......

A while back I tried Briogeo for the first time and really enjoyed it (read my review of the Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo here). Olaplex | No.7 Bonding Oil: Review
Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links and the product featured was provided for review.Recently I tried Olaplex for the first time (read about it here) but was slightly underwhelmed with the No. 3 Hair Perfector, No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo, and No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner. However, I wanted to give the brand another chance since it has such widespread acclaim, so I thought I'd try something different from the product range. The Olaplex No.7 Bonding Oil (C$41 for 30 ml or C$73.80 for 60 ml) is a nourishing hair oil that promises "shine, softness, and color vibrancy". Designed for all hair types, the oil also offers heat protection and breakage reduction. To read my thoughts and experience with the product, click......

During the holidays, Briogeo sent me a small gift set featuring one of their bestselling products, the Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo (C$57 for 236 ml). I've tried a couple of similar products (ex. Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt, Lush Big Shampoo) before and have mixed feelings. However, I really like the idea of a hybrid, two-in-one scrub shampoo so I was very excited to try this one. To read my thoughts, click......

Shark Beauty | Shark SpeedStyle: Review
Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links and the products featured were provided for review. It's become apparent that the hair tool market is really heating up these couple of years. Up until very recently, I honestly thought Dyson had a monopoly on luxury hair tools. So I'm actually very happy to see more options on the market. A while back I talked about the new InfinitiPRO by Conair DigitalAIRE Hair Dryer and today I want to share with you the Shark Beauty Shark SpeedStyle (C$279.99). Described as a "powerful and compact" digital hair dryer, the Shark SpeedStyle comes with a variety of attachments that make it more than just your regular hair dryer. InfinitiPRO by Conair | DigitalAIRE Hair Dryer: Review
Disclaimer: The products featured was provided for review. As I've mentioned, I'm not a big hair person so I'm not super passionate about hair care. Nevertheless, I use a hair dryer regularly, and because I have a lot of hair that takes a long time to dry, it's important for me to have a good one on hand. For the past four years, I've been using the NuMe Stealth Hair Dryer and while I like its strong motor, I always found it a bit too big and clunky. Therefore, when I saw the release of the new InfinitiPRO by Conair DigitalAIRE Hair Dryer (C$199.99), a high-performance, salon-quality hairdryer with a fairly compact size and a reasonable price point, I was very excited. To read about what's special with this hair dryer, click......

Olaplex | No. 3 Hair Perfector, No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo & No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner: Review
Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links and the products featured were provided for review.Olaplex is a hair care brand I've heard a lot about but never tried. Personally, I'm not big on hair care products and usually make do with whatever is on sale at the drugstore. Therefore, it's always interesting to try out luxury hair care to see if the results justify the price. Established in 2014, Olaplex is known for its star ingredient called bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate, which works by repairing and restoring damaged hair. Today I want to share with you my thoughts on their classic three-step treatment. To read all about it, click......

Mason Pearson | Boar Bristle & Nylon Hairbrush: Review
Disclaimer: The product featured was purchased by me.As I've mentioned many times in the past, I'm not very keen when it comes to taking care of my hair. Unlike my fastidious skincare regimen, my haircare routine is lackluster at best. But as I'm approaching my late 20s, I'm noticing more and more gray hairs on my head. Therefore, I've been really making an effort to take better care of my hair, not in an attempt to reverse time or fight genetics (thanks a bunch, mom), but simply to appreciate what I've got before it's too late. One of the efforts I made was investing in a Mason Pearson hairbrush, touted as "the Ferrari of brushes". Invented in 1885 by British engineer Mason Pearson, the design of the "pneumatic" rubber cushion hairbrush remained pretty much unchanged for over 130 years. Often passed down for generations, the average Mason Pearson hairbrush is priced well above $100. As someone who never spent more than $20 on hairbrushes, spending that much seems plain crazy! I was very skeptical at first but after doing some research, I decided to pull the trigger. So to find out whether the Boar Bristle & Nylon Junior Hairbrush (~C$175) was worth the investment, read my review to find out......
